Intermediate Topic 21 of 50 Mobile, Embedded & IoT
Serial Communication
UART, SPI and I2C links between chips.
How it works
UART uses two wires with agreed baud rate; SPI uses clock plus MOSI/MISO and chip select (fast, full-duplex); I²C uses two shared wires with addresses (slower, many devices on one bus).
Where it is used
Talking to sensors and displays.
Common pitfall
I²C needs pull-up resistors and unique addresses.
Where it fits in the course
Serial Communication is topic 21 of 50 in Mobile, Embedded & IoT, rated Intermediate. It follows PWM. The next topic is Interrupts in Embedded Systems.
